All proceeds will support a student-need fund:
Youth whose circumstances hinder their full participation at school (e.g. fees for field trips, specialized learning activities, equipment for programs [music, drama, sports], proper clothing, additional nutrition, mental health and English-language support, etc.) Monies are dispersed on a discretionary basis as mutually discerned by a teacher, educational assistant, vice principal and/or principal with annual accounting of how funds are used. This year’s recipients will be: Calvin Park, Centennial, Central, Lord Strathcona & Molly Brant Public Schools. |

We will have one Sunday morning service that alternates between the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternative Services.

We will have two Sunday morning services:
9:00 a.m. - Book of Common Prayer
10:30 a.m. - Book of Alternative Services
Thursdays at 12:00 p.m.
This is a service of Holy Communion with the Book of Common Prayer.

We are not the owners but have been trusted with resources and the care of everything—Creation, gifts and talents, money, time, and the Gospel—for the sake of God’s purposes in the world. Join us this fall as together we explore various facets of faithful stewarding.

Bible Study with Rev. Kris Michaelson
The topic for this 16 week Bible study is The Parables of Jesus. A parable is a fictitious or made-up story designed to teach a lesson through comparison. Parables are told so that only those who really care will come to know the truth. Remember, the disciples didn’t understand the parables, but they asked what Jesus meant after the crowds left. Their hearts were soft and open. Join us as together we seek God’s truth in sixteen of Jesus’ parables with soft and open hearts of our own!
Newcomers are welcome to join us at any time during this Bible study. There is no obligation to attend every session. After the Bible study there is a service of Holy Communion in the church at 12:00 p.m. followed by a potluck lunch in the Parish Hall.

Evening Prayers for Healing
A quiet, reflective service (homily and hymns included) with voluntary stations for those who desire personal prayers for healing.
Jesus’ ministry included preaching, teaching and healing. One of the methods that Jesus used was touch, often referred to as the laying on of hands. When Jesus commissioned his disciples, he told them to do likewise.
Anointing is a sacramental act of the Church and is available at this service. Until the twelfth century, anointing was a regular part of church services and done by clergy and lay people. If a person was too sick to come to church the oil was taken to the home and prayers were said for healing. There is no restriction on the frequency with which you can receive either the laying on of hands or anointing.

This year, St.Paul's Remembrance Service will be held on November 4, 2018 (not Nov. 11). Please join us in remembering those who made the supreme sacrifice for Canada. Members of the Princess of Wales' Own Regiment (PWOR) will be participating in this service. St. Paul's is the Regimental Chapel of the PWOR.
